"Stefanie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very knowledgeable and helped me determine the carrier that was most appropriate for me. After being discouraged about babywearing with my first born, Stefanie left me with such excitement and confidence about wearing baby #2. She provided lots of practical tips. I highly recommend her for anyone wanting to learn about babywearing. "

What To Expect

Sessions are often held right in your own home. This simplifies things for parents and makes it easier on babies you may have as your practice buddies. There are also public venues we can meet in if needed (eg. libraries, parks, indoor play spaces etc.)
I will bring a selection of carriers (applicable to the session) to try along with demo dolls.

Don't let a messy house stop you. My goal is to meet you where you are at. I want you to be relaxed and confident, not to worry about what state you or your home are in! I have a baby and a toddler... nothing surprises me. Likewise, I understand that kids often don't feel cooperative (that's what demo dolls are for!) and fussy babies don't scare me. Please do whatever you need to attend to your children's needs.

How to Prepare

  • Bring patience for yourself. Like any new skill, it can sometimes take some practice. It's OK to get frustrated! It won't take long for it to become second nature, I promise.
  • Wear clothing that won't get in the way, fitted clothing is best to avoid tangles.
  • Something to keep your hair out of the way if applicable.
  • A water bottle.
  • Any carriers you already own and would like help with.
  • No baby? No problem! Demo dolls are made available for you if needed.
